This year is especially significant since it is our first Conference hosted in Lyon, France. This location provides a unique opportunity for attendees to connect directly with INTERPOL officials and gain insights into specialized crime units.
Through the Conference and extended activities, we aim to strengthen law enforcement and other first responder capabilities to help create a safer and more secure world. Its enhanced focus offers a platform for decision-makers and front-line personnel from these agencies to gather and discuss best practices, share actionable insights and case studies, and explore innovative approaches.
The annual Conference is renowned and highly regarded for delivering unsurpassed networking and collaboration opportunities for global and regional law enforcement, with an expanded focus on other first responders this year.
The interactive agenda and schedule aim to improve capabilities, expand knowledge, increase expertise, and foster readiness to address IP crime challenges, especially those related to transnational organized crime and their associated illicit trade activities. The expanded format will improve collaboration by enabling private sector organizations and individual rights holders to engage in meaningful and productive one-on-one conversations with public sector representatives to discuss enforcement activities, training, and innovative ideas for rethinking international cooperation and initiatives focused on advancing global safety and security.
Our 2025 Conference will also include an Ignite Café, which will create a relaxed and informal networking environment to facilitate discussions and foster valuable connections between participating law enforcement agencies, other first responder organizations, speakers, sponsors, experts, private sector stakeholders, delegates, and INTERPOL specialized units. The Café aims to ignite conversations, increase collaboration, build new relationships, strengthen existing partnerships, and spark opportunities to address safety and security challenges associated with IP crime and other illicit trade. The Ignite Café will open virtually through our Conference app on 1 September 2025 and will be available on-site during the event.
The Conference offers a unique cross-sector experience not found elsewhere. We look forward to welcoming you in the beautiful city of Lyon.
